Product Concept 1
Designer Ryan Product Description- Toolbox one foot tall with two drawers, a magnetized left side, and a light on the right side. Operation- Tools are placed in drawers and if they are metal they can be stuck on the magnet. It also includes a light Justification- Light and magnet would be very useful, drawers would be able to hold a lot of tools Product Concept 3
Designer Ryan Product Description- Has one drawer and a screwdriver holder, with a tray on the top. Operation- Tools go in drawer, but the ones you are using can be placed in the top Justification- nice to have a drawer and a tray Product Concept 5
Designer Jake Product Description- Now mixing the tray with an original tool box. You can have the tray for quick access and a tray to stow all of the small pieces. Operation- Put the tools on the tray and you roll where you will be working. Justification- one drawer with a tray makes it very nice to use Product Concept 7
Designer Holly Product Description- a creeper with trays on either side Operation- user lays on it and can place tools on either side Justification- Nice to have tray and creeper all in one Product Concept 9
Designer Holly Product Description- A tool tray that can be lifted up and down Operation- lower it when you're under the car and raise it when your out from under the car Justification- nice to have something that can be used when you're under the car or not under the car |
Product Concept 2
Designer Ryan Product Description- Like the first one but not as wide. Has three smaller drawers Operation- Tools are placed in drawers and it is not very long so it is very easily moved around. Justification- not as long so its easy to move around Product Concept 4
Designer Jake Product Description- Picture a Flat rate shipping box, but without a lid. It will have Wheels on the corners so that it can be easily wheeled to your desired position. Operation- Put the tools on the tray and you roll where you will be working Justification- Dumby proof tool tray that will let stay under the vehicle with all the tools you need Product Concept 6
Designer Jake Product Description- A metal box that is magnetic so when you place tools on it, they wont move or fall off the tray while moving it around Operation- Put the tools on the tray and you roll where you will be working Justification- Dumby proof tool tray that will let stay under the vehicle with all the tools you need Product Concept 8
Designer Holly Product Description- normal tool tray but one side wall has hinges so it flips down Operation- tools are placed in the tray and when you want to use them you flip the door down Justification- Very simple to make and easy to use |

4. final design description
The final design was based on design 4 but with a twist, it consists of a 12x20 inch tool tray that is 1 inch in height. It has one large section for larger tools (ratchets, hammers, pliers), a meduim section (sockets, screw drivers), and 4 small sections to place bolts. It has wheels on the bottom. It also may have a stand to place it on so it can be used as a table when working under the hood of a car.
