Define a problem
We decided to divide our responsibilities in order to get the maximum amount of work done in the least amount of time
brainstorm
-Using cotton balls in a cup
-Using a coffee filter -Using a charcoal |

1. Using coffee filter over the cup
Pros- simple
easy to make
Cons- not very reusable
not very efficient

SKETCH OF FINAL DESIGN
final design
test and evaluation
Turbidity values- 1st 145 NTU
2nd 133 NTU
The values were not good enough so we added a book cover to the bottom
After book cover 94 NTU
Even though 94 NTU is not good at all we ran out of time to change the design. We should have added more layers into our design to filter it even further.

refine design
We added the book cover to help, but it did not help enough. We would have added more layers of face wipes to help cleanse the water because they worked well but we ran out of time.
conclusion
During this project I learner that I need to work faster. I thought we had more time then we did for the project so I was stuck on trying too many different designs. If I were to do it again instead of testing my own designs I would have done more research and just find the best way without using a lot of time building prototypes.
