complications of distant space travel
To go far in space you need to have enough resources to get there, which could be fuel or even food if it is a manned mission. You also need a rocket that can withstand the heat of space travel. These things require a lot of money. It also takes a lot of time to get to distant places. For example it takes about 10 years to get to Pluto, and if it was a manned mission that would use up a lot of food and water. Space junk is also a big issue but it is rare to hit space junk. If you loose communication with earth the mission might fail because mission control cant tell you what to do. If something technical goes wrong you may not be able to fix it in space so the mission could fail.
